Milano

Short after our city trip to Venice, I visited Italy again. DD Joyce booked a surprise trip, where you only know that it will be a 3-day trip to a place somewhere in Europe. We ended up with Milano, Italy, but departed from the Dusseldorf (Germany) Airport very early. So we decided to leave a day early and do a stopover at a little hotel in Ooij, where we could also meet up with some scrapbooking friends.
In Milano we took the public bus, that should have taken us to the area near the hotel, but that was just a deception. In fact we had to take another bus from where we got out, had to transfer again to another bus, before we could get to the hotel. Milano is a dull city, the only touristic attraction is the kathedral (okey, you can do a lot of shopping as well), so we went all the way up to the roof of it, but that's merely it. When we strolled the main shopping streets, we stumbled upon the Backstreet Boys, doing an autograph session for a music store.
We returned home November 12, 2013.
