Venice
DH and I took a little trip as a gift for his birthday. In fact the plan was to visit Istanbul, but as it is not quiet there at the moment (riots, fights etc), we decided to visit Venice instead. A lovely place in Italy, this town has no cars or any motorized vehicles. All transportation is done on the Grand Canal by boats, waterbuses and watertaxi or the famous gondolas.
