London

When our daughter Joyce graduated, I promised her a short citytrip to London or Paris. Joyce decided on London and ofcourse I went with her. We spent 5 days in London and did some sightseeing there. Naturally we visited the Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Circus and the Tower of London with the crown jewels (including the Koh-i-Nor diamond) and did some shopping at Marc's and Spencer. We used public transportation, the subway (or underground) in London is a fantastic way to get from A to B and vice versa. We had a bed&breakfast appartment near Victoria Station and enjoyed the English breakfast every day (with bacon and eggs, toast, white beans, sausages and orange juice, tea or coffee). Also we went to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards. Nearby there was an exhibition with the treasures of the Royal Family and lots of Fabergé eggs, which was very beautiful. One night we went to see the musical Fame.
London is a great place to spend a few days!!
